ORDER
The Chief Disciplinary Counsel filed an information and motion for final order of discipline advising this Court that Respondent, William E. Miller, III, has pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors count of theft under $500 and two misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing a peace officer, in People of the State of Illinois vs. William E. Miller, III., Case No. 19-CF-1793, Madison County, and had his name stricken from the roll of Illinois attorneys. This Court issued a show cause order why Respondent should not be disciplined pursuant to Rule 5.21(g) on November 1, 2023. Respondent did not file a response.

Having reviewed said information and Respondent’s lack of a response to the same, it is now ordered by this Court that Respondent is disbarred pursuant to Rule 5.21, that his right and license to practice law in the State of Missouri is canceled, and that his name be stricken from the roll of attorneys in this state.

It is further ordered that Respondent comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.

Fee pursuant to Rule 5.19(k) in the amount of $2,000.00 payable to the Clerk of this Court to the credit of the Advisory Committee Fund taxed to Respondent.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
