Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District

The Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, has its main offices and a courtroom in the Hammons Building in Springfield. In addition, the court has a courtroom and chambers in the Butler County Courthouse in Poplar Bluff. The court regularly holds oral arguments in its courtrooms in Springfield and Poplar Bluff. From time to time, it also conducts oral arguments at other sites within the district, such as at county courthouses and schools. The southern district has seven judges, and its territory includes forty-four counties across southern Missouri.
