ORDER
The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information advising this Court of its findings, after investigation, that there is probable cause to believe Respondent, Marvin Karl Hawkins, Jr., is guilty of professional misconduct; and

The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed with said information, pursuant to Rule 5.13(g), a notice of default, notifying the Court that Respondent failed to timely file an answer or other response within the time required although Respondent was properly served;

The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed a recommendation for discipline; and

Respondent having filed suggestions in support of a particular discipline on June 10, 2024;

Respondent is in default pursuant to Rule 5.13, is guilty of professional misconduct, and should be disciplined as a result of violations of Rules 4-1.3 and 4-1.4 of the Rules of Professional Conduct.

Now, therefore, this Court orders that Respondent, Marvin Karl Hawkins, Jr., is hereby suspended indefinitely from the practice of law with no leave to file for reinstatement for a period of six months from the date of this order.

It is further ordered that Respondent comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.

Fee pursuant to Rule 5.19(k) in the amount of $1,000.00 payable to the Clerk of this Court to the credit of the Advisory Committee Fund taxed to Respondent.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
