In re: Leslie Ann Genova, MBE No. 43041
ORDER
WHEREAS, the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed a motion for final discipline pursuant to Rule 5.21(c) advising this Court that Respondent in United States of America v. Leslie Ann Genova, a/k/a Sally Ann Cavanaugh, in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas Case No. 06-20075-01KHV, pled guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in violation of Title 17 U.S.C. Section 371; the felony being based on her use of wire communications to further the conspiracy of defrauding her client during contract negotiations; said conviction now being final;
The Court finds that Respondent is guilty of professional misconduct and should be disciplined;
Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the said Leslie Ann Genova, be, and she is hereby disbarred, that her right and license to practice law in the State of Missouri is canceled and that her name be stricken from the roll of attorneys in this State.
It is further ordered that the said Leslie Ann Genova, comply in all respects with 5.27 - Notification of Clients and Counsel.
Fee pursuant to Rule 5.19(h) in the amount of $2000.00 payable to the Clerk of this Court to the credit of the Advisory Committee Fund taxed to Respondent.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
