In Re: William K. Crosby, MBE #39025


ORDER


Petitioner, William K. Crosby, having filed in this Court a motion to voluntarily surrender his license to practice law in this state together with having tendered his license to practice law to the Clerk of this Court; and

Petitioner having pled guilty to the class D felony of making and presenting a false and fraudulent claim to the United States in violation of 18 U.S.C. section 278 in the case of United States of America v. Crosby, Case No. 06-00212-01-CR-W-ODS; and

The Court having received the Chief Disciplinary Counsel’s report and recommendation which advised that Petitioner has engaged in conduct which violated Rule 4-8.4(b) of the Rules of Professional Conduct; and

The Court, thus advised, now orders that the surrender of the license of William K. Crosby be accepted and that said license be canceled.

It is further ordered that the name of William K. Crosby be stricken from the roll of attorneys in this state, that he be disbarred, and that his right and license to practice law in this state is hereby terminated.

It is further ordered that the said William K. Crosby comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 - Notification of Clients and Counsel.

Costs taxed to Petitioner.
