Note: Dennis James Harney's probation terminated June 2, 2008 by order of the Court.


ORDER


The Chief Disciplinary Counsel filed the complete record of the  Disciplinary Hearing Panel and the parties having filed briefs and said cause having been submitted on briefs on May 10, 2006,

Being fully advised in the premises, the Court finds that Respondent, Dennis James Harney, has violated Rules 4-8.1(a), 4-8.4(c), and 4-8.4(a) of the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined.

Now, therefore, it is ordered that Respondent, Dennis James Harney, is hereby suspended from the practice of law for a period of two years from the date of this order.  The suspension is stayed, and Respondent, Dennis James Harney, is placed on probation as provided in Rule 5.225, for a period of two year from the date of this order. The conditions of probation to be satisfied prior to the expiration of said probation are set forth in Rule 5.225 and pages A-12 through A-23 of the appendix to Informant’s brief filed on February 28, 2006

Costs taxed to Respondent.
