In re: Patrick A. Woodley
Note: Patrick A. Woodley was reinstated, on probation, Oct. 9, 2008, by order of the Court.
ORDER
Now at this day, Informant having filed the complete record of the Disciplinary Hearing Panel and said record included a stipulation of the parties regarding disposition of this cause; and
Respondent having previously been suspended on an interim basis pursuant to the April 14, 2006, order of the Court in the case of In re: Patrick A. Woodley, SC87613; and
The Court finds that Respondent has violated Rules 4-1.1, 4-1.3, 4-1.4, 4-1.16(d), 4-8.1(b) and 4-8.4(a) of the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;
Now, Therefore, it is ordered that Respondent, Patrick A. Woodley, is hereby suspended from the practice of law in this state and no application for reinstatement shall be entertained by this Court for a period of eighteen months from the date of this order. The stipulation of the parties regarding Respondent’s continued treatment during the period of suspension as set forth on page 12 of the stipulation is hereby approved. The order of interim suspension issued on April 14, 2006, in Case No. SC87613 is hereby lifted.
It is further ordered that the Respondent, Patrick A. Woodley, comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 - Notification of Clients and Counsel.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
