ORDER

The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for reciprocal discipline pursuant to Rule 5.20 advising this Court of its finding, after investigation, that Respondent, William Craig Howell, filed a motion for voluntary surrender of his license in the Nebraska Supreme Court in Case No. S-10-627, wherein Respondent acknowledged that he did not challenge or contest the truth of the allegations that he mishandled funds held in his law firm’s trust account and then took steps to conceal the misconduct. Respondent was disbarred by the Supreme Court of Nebraska in an opinion dated September 17, 2010;

Said discipline was the result of conduct that violated rules 4-1.15(c), and 4-8.4(c) of the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct; and

On November 22, 2010, this Court issued a show cause order to Respondent and Respondent failed to file a response to the same;

The Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;

Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the said William Craig Howell, be, and he is hereby disbarred, that his right and license to practice law in the State of Missouri is canceled and that his name be stricken from the roll of attorneys in this State.

It is further ordered that the said William Craig Howell, comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 - Notification of Clients and Counsel.

Fee pursuant to Rule 5.19(h) in the amount of $2000.00 payable to the Clerk of this Court to the credit of the Advisory Committee Fund taxed to Respondent.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
