In re: Gregg T. Hyder, MBE No. 28914
ORDER
Now on this day, the Court having considered the statement of acceptance of the Disciplinary Hearing Panel decision pursuant to Rule 5.19(c), the Court finds that Respondent, Gregg T. Hyder, Missouri Bar Number 28914, violated the following provisions of the Rules of Professional Conduct with respect to multiple clients: Rules 4-1.1 (Competence), 4-1.3 (Diligence), 4-1.4 (Communication), 4-1.15 (Safekeeping Client Property), specifically unearned attorneys fees, 4-1.16 (Return Unearned Attorney Fees to Clients at the Conclusion of Representation), and Rules 4-1.5 (Fees) and 4-5.5 (Unauthorized Practice of Law) by accepting fees for representation when suspended from the practice of law.
The Court further finds that such violations require discipline.
In accordance with previous decisions of this Court, the Court hereby suspends Gregg T. Hyder from the practice of law for an indefinite period of time with no leave to apply for reinstatement for a period of three years from the date of this order as set forth in the parties’ Joint Stipulation filed herein.
It is further ordered that Respondent, Gregg T. Hyder, comply in all respect with Rule 5.27 - Notification of clients and counsel.
Fee pursuant to Rule 5.19(h) in the amount of $1,000.00 payable to the Clerk of this Court to the credit of the Advisory Committee Fund taxed to Respondent.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
