Reinstated to good standing July 29, 2010

ORDER

Now at this day, Informant having filed the complete record of the Disciplinary Hearing Panel which contained the joint request for recommendation as to sanctions and the recommendation of the Disciplinary Hearing Panel; and

The Court finds that Respondent has violated Rules 4-1.4, 4-1.8, 4-1.1, 4-1.15, 4-4.1, 4-1.7(a), 4-1.7(b) and 4-8.4(c) of the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;

Now, Therefore, it is ordered that Respondent, David Schmidt, is hereby suspended from the practice of law in this state and no application for reinstatement shall be entertained by this Court for a period of two years and six months from the date of this order.

It is further ordered that the Respondent, David Schmidt, comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 - Notification of Clients and Counsel.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
