ORDER


WHEREAS, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed an Information and motion for interim suspension informing the Court that Respondent,  Michael Lee Selby, has been convicted of four counts of the class A misdemeanor of domestic assault in the third degree in violation of section 565.074 RSMo, one count of the class A misdemeanor of resisting lawful detention in violation of section 575.150 RSMo, and one count of the class B misdemeanor of obstruction of governmental operations in violation of section 576.030 RSMo and the Court having considered the said Information; and


An order to show cause why Respondent should not be suspended from the practice of law pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 5.21(a) having been issued by this Court on July 3, 2007, and Respondent having failed to file a response thereto;


Now, Therefore, it is ordered that Respondent, Michael Lee Selby, be, and he is hereby suspended from the practice of law pending the final disposition of any disciplinary proceeding based upon such convictions or misconduct that resulted in said convictions.


It is further ordered that Respondent immediately advise this Court when disposition of the appeal shall have become final.


It is further ordered that Michael Lee Selby, comply in all respect with Rule 5.27 - Notification of clients and counsel.


Costs taxed to Respondent.
