ORDER

 

The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information for show cause order and motion for discipline pursuant to Rule 5.20 advising this Court of its finding, after investigation, that Respondent, Lisa M. Pennock, had been suspended from the practice of law in the State of Illinois with a portion of said suspension stayed and terms of probation ordered as set forth in the judgment of the Illinois Supreme Court in Case No. M.R. 21442, entitled In Re: Lisa M. Pennock issued on March 19, 2007; and

 

Said discipline was the result of violations of the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct, said conduct being a violation of Rules 4-8.4(a), 4-8.4(b), 4-8.4(c), and 4-8.4(d) of the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct; and 

 

On April 9, 2007, this Court issued a show cause order to Respondent and Respondent did not file a response to the same; 

 

Thereafter, pursuant to the order of the Court issued on May 17, 2007, the parties filed a status report with the Court regarding Respondent’s compliance with the terms of probation ordered by the Illinois Supreme Court;

 

The Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;

 

Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the motion for discipline is sustained and that Respondent, Lisa M Pennock, is suspended from the practice of law in this state and that no application for reinstatement shall be entertained by the Court for a period of two years from the date of this order. It is further ordered that on February 14, 2008, the suspension shall thereafter be stayed and Respondent placed on probation for the remaining period. The terms of probation shall be those terms contained in Rule 5.225 and the decision of the Illinois Supreme Court issued on March 19, 2007.

 

It is further ordered that the Respondent, Lisa M. Pennock, comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 - Notification of Clients and Counsel.

 

Costs taxed to Respondent.
