In re:  James R. Hicks,  MBE No. 24923

ORDER 

Now at this day, the complete record of the Disciplinary Hearing Panel containing a stipulation of the parties having been filed herein and the Court being sufficiently advised of and concerning the premises;

The Court finds that Respondent has violated Rules 4-1.1, 4-1.3, 4-1.4 and 4-3.4, and 4-8.1(b) of the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;

Now, Therefore, it is hereby ordered that Respondent, James R. Hicks, is hereby suspended from the practice of law in this state for a period of six months from the date of this order and that said suspension is hereby stayed  and Respondent is placed on probation for a period of one year from the date of this order. The terms of probation are set forth in Rule 5.225 and contained within exhibit 3 attached to the stipulation of the parties filed herein. 

Costs taxed to Respondent.
