In re: Mark A. Rice, MBE No. 33236   

                             

ORDER

 

WHEREAS, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed an information for interim suspension pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 5.24, informing the Court that Respondent, Mark A. Rice, was suspended from practice in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri by order of that court dated December 11, 2013. In addition, Informant has presented sufficient evidence demonstrating that there is probable cause to believe Respondent is unable competently to represent the interests of his clients as he is not communicating with them and that Respondent poses a substantial threat of irreparable harm to the public;
 
Now, therefore it is ordered that Respondent, Mark A. Rice, be and he is hereby suspended from the practice of law pending the final disposition of any disciplinary proceeding based upon such alleged misconduct.
