In re: Eric S. Affholter, MBE No. 47249

ORDER

WHEREAS, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed an information and motion for interim suspension informing the Court that Respondent, Eric S. Affholter, has been convicted of a felony for violation of 8 U.S.C. Section 1325(c) in Case No. 4:07CR00329CDP entitled United States of America v. Eric Affholter and Pedro Cerna-Rojas, Defendants, pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri; and

An order to show cause why Respondent should not be suspended from the practice of law pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 5.21(a) having been issued by this Court and Respondent having filed a response thereto;

The Court now being fully advised of and concerning the premises, it is ordered that Respondent, Eric S. Affholter, be, and he is hereby suspended from the practice of law pending the final disposition of any disciplinary proceeding based upon such conviction or misconduct that resulted in said conviction.

It is further ordered that Respondent immediately advise this Court when disposition of any appeal of said conviction shall have become final.

It is further ordered that Eric S. Affholter comply in all respect with Rule 5.27 - Notification of clients and counsel.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
