In re:  Radford R. Raines III,   MBE No. 39731            

 

 

ORDER


Now at this day, the Court having previously issued an order on November
28, 2012
, suspending Respondent from the practice of law with a stay of said
suspension and placing the Respondent on probation; and
 
Informant having filed a motion for order to show cause why probation
should not be revoked on December 31, 2013; and
 
This Court issued a show cause order to Respondent on December 31, 2013.
Respondent filed a response to the show cause order on February 4, 2014;
 
The Court finds that Respondent has violated conditions a, b, c, d, and f of
his probation as set forth in the order of this Court dated November 28, 2012;
 
Now, therefore, Radford Reuben Raines III’s probation is revoked, the stay
previously issued is vacated, and the sanction specified in this Court’s
November 28, 2012, order is imposed.
 
Respondent, Radford Reuben Raines III is hereby suspended from the
practice of law in this state and no application for reinstatement shall be
entertained by this Court for a period of six months from the date of this
order.
 
It is further ordered that Radford Reuben Raines III comply in all respects
with Rule 5.27-Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
 
Costs taxed to Respondent.
