Note: Mr. Scholz's probation was terminated by order dated June 27, 2016.
ORDER
The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for reciprocal discipline pursuant to Rule 5.20 advising this Court of its finding, after investigation, that Respondent, Richard F. Scholz, was suspended from practice of law by the Supreme Court of Illinois pursuant to the September 25, 2013, decision of that Court in Case No. M.R. 26086, In re: Richard F. Scholz III. Said suspension was stayed and Respondent placed on probation. The discipline was the result of conduct that violated Rules 4-1.3, 4-1.4(a)(1), 4-8.1(c), and 4-8.4(d) of the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct; and
On June 10, 2014, this Court issued a show cause order to Respondent and Respondent filed a response to the same;
The Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;
Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the motion for discipline is sustained and that Respondent, Richard F. Scholz, is hereby placed on probation for a period of eighteen months from this date. The terms of probation shall be those set forth in exhibit B filed herein.
