In re: Scott Aaron Washburn, MBE # 52049

ORDER

The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information for interim suspension for threat of harm pursuant to Rule 5.24 advising this Court of its findings, after investigation, that there is probable cause to believe that Respondent, Scott Aaron Washburn, poses a substantial threat of irreparable harm to the public as there is probable cause to believe Respondent has engaged in acts of misconduct as delineated in said information; and

The Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel faxed and mailed Respondent and Respondent’s counsel a copy of the information for interim suspension on December 17, 2007; and

The Court having considered the information for interim suspension filed by the Chief Disciplinary Counsel does find that Respondent poses a substantial threat of irreparable harm to the public pursuant to Rule 5.24; and

Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that Respondent, Scott Aaron Washburn, be and he is hereby suspended from the practice of law in this State pending the final disposition of disciplinary proceedings; and

It is further ordered that the said Scott Aaron Washburn, comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 - Notification of Clients and Counsel.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
