Note: Michael R. Hanson's probation terminated January 8, 2009 by order of the Court.

 

ORDER

 

Informant and Respondent having filed, by leave of Court, an information and stipulation as to discipline advising that Respondent violated Rules 4-1.3, 4-1.4(a) and 4-8.1(b) of the Rules of Professional Conduct; and

 

The Court finds that Respondent has violated Rules 4-1.3, 4-1.4(a) and 4-8.1(b) of the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined.

 

Now, therefore, it is ordered that Respondent, Michael R. Hanson, is hereby suspended from the practice of law and that no petition for reinstatement shall be entertained for a period of six months from the date of this order. The suspension is stayed, and Respondent, Michael R. Hanson, is placed on probation as provided in Rule 5.225.  The probation is for a period of one year from the date of this order.  The conditions of probation shall be those specified in Rule 5.225 and the conditions set forth in Exhibit 1 attached to the joint stipulation of facts, joint proposed conclusions of law and joint recommended discipline filed on September 21, 2007, in the above-entitled cause.

 

Costs taxed to Respondent.
