Note: The Court reinstated Mr. Williams' law license by order dated August 18, 2015.

 

ORDER

 

Now at this day, the Court having previously issued an order on May 31, 2005, suspending Respondent from the practice of law with a stay of said suspension and placing the Respondent on probation; and

 

Respondent having filed a motion for order of successful completion of probation on November 26, 2007, and Informant filing a motion to revoke probation and response to Respondent’s motion for order of successful completion of probation and an alternative request for a hearing pursuant to Rule 5.225(f) on December 6, 2007; and

 

Having considered the information listed herein, the Court finds that Respondent has violated conditions one and three of his probation as set forth in the order of this Court dated May 31, 2005;

 

Now, Therefore, Respondent, Derrick R. Williams, Sr.'s, probation is terminated, the stay heretofore entered is lifted, and the sanction specified in this Court's May 31, 2005, order, is imposed.

 

Respondent, Derrick R. Williams, Sr., is hereby suspended from the practice of law in this state and no application for reinstatement shall be entertained by this Court for a period of one year from the date of this order.

 

It is further ordered that the Respondent, Derrick R. Williams, Sr., comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 - Notification of Clients and Counsel.

 

Costs taxed to Respondent.
