Note: Mr. Cohen's probation was terminated by order dated November 6, 2015.
ORDER
The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for reciprocal discipline pursuant to Rule 5.20 advising this Court of its finding, after investigation, that Respondent, Charles E. Cohen, was suspended from the practice of law by the Supreme Court of Indiana pursuant to the order of that Court issued on October 20, 2014, in Case No. 49S00-1304-DI-282, In the Matter of Charles E. Cohen;
Said discipline was the result of conduct that violated Rules 4-1.16(d) and 4-8.4(c) of the Rules of Professional Conduct; and
On February 23, 2015, this Court issued a show cause order to Respondent and Respondent submitted a letter in response to the same advising he would not be filing a response;
The Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;
Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the motion for discipline is sustained and that Respondent, Charles E. Cohen, is suspended indefinitely from the practice of law in this state and that no application for reinstatement shall be entertained by this Court for a period of six months from the date of this order. Said suspension is stayed and Respondent is placed on probation for a period of six months from the date of this order. The terms of probation are those contained in Rule 5.225.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
