In re: Stephen W. Taliaferro, MBE No. 40005
ORDER
WHEREAS, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed an information and motion for final discipline pursuant to Rule 5.21(c) informing the Court that Respondent, Stephen W. Taliaferro, has pled guilty to the misdemeanor of official oppression in State of Texas vs. Steve Taliaferro, Winkler County Case No. 5335 and pled guilty to the misdemeanor of solicitation of prostitution in State of Texas vs. Steve Taliaferro, Winkler County Case No.16755, and said convictions are now final and that Respondent, Stephen W. Taliaferro was disbarred by the State Bar of Texas on October 25, 2014, in Case No. 201307287;
The Court finds that Respondent is guilty of professional misconduct and should be disciplined;
Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the said Stephen W. Taliaferro be, and he is hereby disbarred, that his right and license to practice law in the State of Missouri is canceled and that his name be stricken from the roll of attorneys in this State.
It is further ordered that the said Stephen W. Taliaferro comply in all respects with Rule 5.27-Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
