In re: Court Reporter Education Advisory Committee

ORDER

There is hereby created a Court Reporter Education Advisory Committee.  The committee, subject to guidance from the Coordinating Commission for Judicial Department Education, shall develop, review and accredit, and may conduct, continuing education programs required by Supreme Court Rule 14 for certified court reporters.

Members of the committee, except as provided in this order, shall serve for a term of two years.  Members may succeed themselves for one additional consecutive term of two years and may serve additional nonconsecutive terms as appointed by this Court.

The following court reporters are appointed to a term expiring on June 30, 2001, or when their successors are appointed and qualified:

Russell B. Welder, Division 2, 32nd Judicial Circuit
Linda Dattilo, Swing Reporter, 21st Judicial Circuit
Ann Sprague, Division 1, 13th Judicial Circuit
Joanne Martin, Division 23, 22nd Judicial Circuit

The following court reporters are appointed to a term expiring June 30, 2000, or when their successors are appointed and qualified:

Nancy Fox, Division 10, 16th Judicial Circuit
Sharon Lambert, Division 2, 29th Judicial Circuit
Barbara Amor, 15th Judicial Circuit

Joanne Martin is appointed chair of the committee.

The committee is authorized to meet at such places and times as determined by the chair and will be reimbursed actual expenses as authorized for state employees.
