In re: Jimmy E. Allen, MBE No. 49439

ORDER

The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for reciprocal discipline pursuant to Rule 5.20 advising this Court of its finding, after investigation, that Respondent, Jimmy E. Allen, Jr., was disbarred from practice of law by the Supreme Court of Kansas pursuant to the November 5, 2015, order of that Court accepting his voluntary surrender of license and disbarring Respondent in Case No. 18439, entitled In the Matter of Jimmie E. Allen, Jr., Respondent.

Said discipline was the result of conduct that violated the Kansas Rules of Professional Conduct and said conduct is a violation of Rules 4-1.3, 4-1.4, 4-1.5, 4-1.15, 4-1.16, 4-8.1 and 4-8.4 of the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct; and

On January 22, 2016, this Court issued a show cause order to Respondent and Respondent filed a response to the same;

The Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;

Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the motion for discipline is sustained and that Respondent, Jimmy E. Allen, Jr., is hereby disbarred, that his right and license to practice law in the State of Missouri is canceled and that his name is stricken from the roll of attorneys in this State.

It is further ordered that Jimmy E. Allen, Jr., comply in all respects with 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
