The Supreme Court of Missouri has two types of "hand down" days when it issues decisions. The first are "regular" hand down days, during which the Court will issue decisions. These decisions will include the Court's rulings regarding applications for transfer, writs and motions. It may or may not include opinions. The second type includes "optional" hand down days, during which the Court may issue opinions or rulings on motions for rehearing. The Court typically has two dates each month on which it may hand down decisions, typically on Tuesdays. All hand downs will occur at 1 p.m. on the dates listed. The Court currently has scheduled hand down dates through December 2017. The minutes of all the Court's hand downs are available dating back to May 26, 1998.
