The Office of State Courts Administrator has a position available to provide information technology support to state courts in the Southwest area of Missouri. The range of support includes end user support to court personnel using state and county provided software and hardware, network and local desktops, laptops and printers, as well as all peripherals. This individual also will work with routers, switches and videoconferencing equipment in the court environment in support of the courts network infrastructure.
The office for this position will be located in Springfield, MO.
Applicant should have significant knowledge and experience with the following operating systems and software: Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, Apple mobile devices and a working knowledge of Lotus Notes. Knowledge of Cisco routers, switches and Polycom videoconferencing equipment also is desired. Applicant also must possess good interpersonal and customer service skills, and knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues on the phone as well as onsite. Extensive statewide travel is required.
Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree with at least 15 semester hours in computer science, computer information systems or closely related areas, and one year of experience. Computer information technology systems experience such as computer programming, systems analysis and design, or work with primary responsibility for the configuration of computer hardware and software in a server and/or microcomputer environment may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for deficiencies in the stated education.
Starting annual salary range is $31,200 - $37,848, depending on qualifications. Application and college transcript both are required.
