The Supreme Court of Missouri typically has two Tuesdays each month on which it might issue decisions. All decisions are handed down, or issued, at 1 p.m. When the Supreme Court issues decisions, it simultaneously issues minutes listing each of its decisions. These are listed by category, beginning with all opinions and then followed by the Court's rulings on motions for rehearing, applications and recommendations for transferring a case from the Court of Appeals to the Supreme Court, petitions for writs and other original proceedings (filed in the Supreme Court instead of being appealed from a lower court), and other motions. The minutes are listed in reverse chronological order according to the day on which they were issued.
