In re: Martin T. Sigillito, MBE No. 26353
NOTE: Mr. Sigilito was disbarred by Court order dated January 22, 2015.
ORDER
WHEREAS, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed an information informing the Court that Respondent, Martin T. Sigillito, has been charged with twenty-two counts of federal statutory crimes and a jury has found said respondent guilty of twenty felonies in case number 11-CR-168-LRR, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the Court having considered the said information; and
An order to show cause why Respondent should not be suspended from the practice of law pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 5.21(a) having been issued by this Court on July 20, 2012, and Respondent having failed to file a response thereto;
It is ordered that Respondent, Martin T. Sigillito, be, and he is hereby, suspended from the practice of law pending the final disposition of any disciplinary proceeding based upon such conviction or misconduct that resulted in said conviction.
It is further ordered that Respondent immediately advise this Court when disposition of any appeal regarding this conviction shall have become final.
It is further ordered that the said Martin T. Sigillito comply in all respects with Supreme Court Rule 5.27 - Notification of Clients and Counsel.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
