Note: Mr. Hardy was reinstated, with probation, by Court order dated July 28, 2016.
ORDER
Now at this day, the Court being sufficiently advised of and concerning the premises and having considered the information and motion for final order of discipline pursuant to Rule 5.21(e), and the Court having issued a show cause order to Respondent, and Respondent having filed a response to the same;
The Court finds that Respondent, David A. Hardy, Missouri Bar No. 61201, violated Rule 4-8.4(b) of the Rules of Professional conduct as a result of his felony conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol in Johnson County, Kansas, Case No. 13CR1903, and should be disciplined.
Upon consideration of these findings, previous decisions of this Court, ABA Standards for Imposing Lawyer Discipline, and aggravating and mitigating circumstances, the Court suspends Respondent’s license indefinitely and no petition for reinstatement will be entertained by the Court for a period of six months from the date of this order.
It is further ordered that David A. Hardy comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
