In re: Bliss Barber Worrell, MBE No. 66340        

Note: Ms. Worrell was disbarred by Court order dated August 10, 2016.                 

 

ORDER

 

Whereas, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed an information and motion for interim suspension informing the Court that Respondent, Bliss Barber Worrell, pleaded guilty to a felony in violation of 18 U.S.C. §4 in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri Case No. 4:15CR00486 HEA, entitled United States of America, Plaintiff, vs. Bliss Barber Worrell, Defendant, and the Court having considered the said information; and
 
An order to show cause why respondent should not be suspended from the practice of law pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 5.21(a) was issued by the Court on November 13, 2015, and Respondent filed a response to the same;
 
It is ordered that Respondent, Bliss Barber Worrell, be and she is hereby suspended from the practice of law pending the final disposition of any disciplinary proceedings based upon such conviction or misconduct that resulted in said conviction;
 
It is further ordered that Respondent immediately advise this Court when the conviction is final.
 
It is further ordered that Bliss Barber Worrell comply in all respect with Rule 5.27-Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
 
Costs taxed to Respondent.
