(A) Self-represented parties may file motions, correspondence and pleadings by facsimile transmission if the document, together with any supporting documentation does not exceed 20 pages. Legal files, briefs, and transcripts may not be filed by facsimile transmission. Regular mail may be used for any document or pleading.
(B) Facsimile filings received at the court by 11:59:59 p.m. will be filed as of that day. Time of receipt will be the time printed on the facsimile document by the court’s facsimile machine.
(C) Documents filed by facsimile transmission shall bear the telephone number and facsimile telephone number as well as the signature of the person filing them.
(D) Self-represented parties may file motions, correspondence and pleadings, including legal files and transcripts, by electronic mail attachment at wdcoa@courts.mo.gov A single attachment shall not exceed seven megabytes, and attachments shall be in Portable Document Format (.pdf). When a brief is filed by electronic mail attachment, one paper copy must be delivered to the clerk of the court no later than five days after the date of filing.
(E) Self-represented parties may also file motions, correspondence and pleadings, including legal files and transcripts, by regular mail or delivering such filings directly to the court at 1300 Oak Street, Kansas City, MO 64106.
(F) Self-represented parties filing motions, correspondence, and pleadings that require a filing fee may file by facsimile transmission or electronic mail if the party made prior arrangements with the Court and immediately pays the filing fee by telephone at the time of filing.
