Rule 44. Request for Oral Argument

Prior to the filing of the respondent’s brief, any party may request oral argument by filing a written notice of request for oral argument with this court. After the respondent’s brief is filed, in any case where no prior request has been made, the court will notify the parties that their case will be submitted on the briefs without oral argument unless, within ten days of the court’s notification, counsel or a self-represented party requests oral argument. In all cases, it is within the court’s discretion to deny a request for oral argument.
