14. Other Agencies Q&A

1. Has any work been completed with Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) to not put the DLN on the uniform citation?
Two versions of the uniform citation will be generated. One with the personally identifiable information and one without.

2. Conservation tickets have SSN's on them. What is being done to prevent this information from being available?
Conservation is aware of the changes and are in the process of developing a solution.

3. FBI NICS sends everybody and their brother requests that typically 95% have nothing to do with my county. They can now go to Case.net for docs? Basically, unless someone wants something certified (which I don't plan to make public) this will now free us up to do other things?
Public documents will be viewable remotely. If the document is not public, the FBI can complete form GN318 - Application to Inspect Confidential Closed Records. The application will be reviewed by the judge and a determination made if the documents will be provided.

4. How will we handle probation orders from Probation and Parole (P&P) that are full of confidential info? Will P&P be redacting all of their filings?
The filing party is responsible for redacting personal identifying information if the document is a public document.

5. Has the police departments been trained on this procedure?
Letters have been sent to all law enforcement agencies.

6. The sheriff office received the forms from OSCA but did not have a letter explaining what the changes are coming
Letters were sent out with the attachments.

7. What about traffic tickets, you can't redact?
The prosecutor will be submitting a redacted and unredacted uniform citation.

8. What about county ticket? Will they be redacted as well as the highway patrol, conservation?
The UC will have to be redacted. Whether the vendor is creating two version is dependent upon the vendor used if the office is using for an e-ticketing vendor.

9. Our prosecutor is filing the CRIFS on one FREDI code and the unredacted document on a separate FREDI code. Is this correct?
The prosecuting attorney should be submitting a redacted (public facing) document, which will be accepted using the appropriate code (example: AINFO, AUTT, etc.). This will be at a security level 1. The court should also receive an unredacted copy with the CRIFS form attached. The court will accept the unredacted filing using docket code FREDI and it will be at a security level 3. The FREDI code should be associated to the unredacted document that was filed at a level 1.
