Given the decrease in the national and local levels of COVID-19 cases
and the effectiveness and availability of approved COVID-19 vaccines, effective June 15,
Missouri's appellate and circuit courts – including all associate,
family, juvenile, treatment, municipal, and probate divisions – no
longer will be required to conduct court proceedings and courthouse
activities pursuant to the previously prescribed operational phases and

The Supreme Court of Missouri on May 4 ordered operational directives,
effective May 16, to help courts statewide begin easing COVID-19
restrictions on in-person proceedings. Until then, courts remain
subject to the Court's prior order extending statewide precautionary measures through May 15. May 5

COVID-19 Emergency Suggested Receipting and End of Month Accounting Practices:
Have a secured locked box available for payments when there is no one
authorized or available to receive payments. Have two people sign
off/log each payment when the locked box is opened and immediately
receipt in the system being used. Follow COR 4.53.2
if manual receipts are anticipated by requesting an order from your
circuit presiding judge. The presiding judge will forward a copy of the
order to the OSCA Help Desk. Do the end of month disbursements as close
to the last business day as possible, or when next allowed back in the
office, if unable to complete remotely. Show-Me Courts users only need
to log in to the virtual desktop to launch OSCA Reports or JIS to print
SMC checks and general ledger posting, All other work can be completed

On March 22, the Supreme Court of Missouri issued a new order in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among other directives, the order
suspends – with certain listed exceptions – all in-person proceedings
in all state courts through April 17 and authorizes local courts to
determine the manner in which the listed exceptions should be conducted.
Conference Call Meetings:
If you are conducting or participating in a meeting via conference call
and have issues getting through, please be patient and try calling a
few times. If you are still unable to get through, please notify the
meeting chair. The use of conference calls has increased significantly
