New Expungement Process
For cases with multiple charges (only marijuana-related offense(s) to be expunged), the clerk will need to go to Docketing before deleting the sentence and do the following:
- This email account is only for use with the Constitutional Amendment expungement process associated with the Judgment and Order of Expungement and Order to Vacate the Sentence.
- Emailing the order replaces the need for the court to physically mail a paper copy to MSHP.
- MSHP does not intend to use this email account for any other type of expungements as those procedures will still require the order to be physically mailed.
- Emails containing personal identifying information or criminal justice information sent to this email address need to be encrypted per Criminal Justice Information Services Security Policy.
