Auto Create Case Civil Statewide Deployment
As approved by the Case Management Oversight Team (CMOT) and the Implementation Planning Task Team (IPTT), Auto Create Case (ACC) Civil in Show-Me Courts will be phased in statewide by circuit starting with the April 18, 2025, deployment.
How does ACC Civil work?
See the list of civil case types available through the ACC Civil process. A new ACC Civil FAQ also is available.
When an attorney efiles a new civil case of the available types for ACC Civil, it no longer will go into a queue to be processed by local clerk staff. Instead, once the attorney clicks “submit,” it will be accepted as filed automatically. This means the system will automatically create the new case, accept the petition, assign a case number, and allow the attorney to continue filing additional documents in the case. The new case also will be available to the public automatically via Case.net.
Please note attorneys no longer will be able to recall a filing – or ask local circuit court staff to “hold” it – once the system has processed the petition and created a new case.

- On or after April 18, 2025, ACC Civil will be activated in circuits 1 through 10.
- On or after May 16, 2025, ACC Civil will be activated in circuits 12 through 20.
- On or after June 18, 2025, ACC Civil will be activated in circuits 22 through 29.
- On or after July 18, 2025, ACC Civil will be activated in circuits 30 and 32 through 46.
What does this mean for court staff?
- ACC Civil will allow cases to be created automatically without court staff reviewing them prior to acceptance.
- Authorized court personnel will be able to set up preferences in the Admin tab for creating cases by court location and case type/predecessor code (a grouping or category or case types) including Judge Assignment and party match options.
- After the new cases are created, court staff will have the opportunity to review the cases in the Case Review Queue and update certain information such as accounting, parties and judge assignment among others.
