MACSS Training
The Missouri Automated Child Support System (MACSS) curriculum is now live on TRACKS! This series of self-paced courses includes web-based training, simulations and informational documents. The curriculum has been designed to provide Missouri court staff with progressive instruction for use of the system. It provides a foundation for understanding the processes used to maintain child support cases in the state of Missouri. In addition to the the classes, a Training Space has been created for the MACSS curriculum. This space provides an overview of the training plan, recommended class progression and links to the MACSS activities on TRACKS.
What is a Training Space?
Training Spaces are intended to accommodate a wide range of activities and are part of our learning management system, TRACKS. These spaces are designed and outfitted with one word in mind: flexibility. They allow us to group together a variety of learning activities for a specific purpose or group of learners with different delivery methods in a way that is easy to use and understand.
Training spaces provide an additional benefit that we have not been able to provide before: What’s in it for me? Students often ask about the background or origins of a training plan and we do not normally have an opportunity to explain it. Through the training space we can answer the questions: Why is this training important to me? Why is the training presented this way? What is a blended learning approach? How can this curriculum help me be better at my job? This means we can include additional information that technically are not learning activities, but support documentation for the training. This can include downloadable files, QA lists, flowcharts and glossaries.
