Manage My Case

Manage My Case (MMC) is an enhancement to Case.net that provides self-represented litigants the capability to electronically file documents. A prosecuting attorney does not have to participate in Manage My Case for a litigant to use the electronic filing functionality. Manage My Case has been implemented statewide.

  • Allows the self-represented litigant to communicate with participating prosecutors and courts electronically.
  • Gives the self-represented litigant the opportunity to plead guilty and dispose of a violations bureau case without the need to physically appear in court.

  • Resolution of many matters prior to court dates, resulting in smaller court caseloads and being able to offer settlements and payment plans without appearing in court.

  • Customizable alternatives to prosecution that are locally available.

  • Integration with PA Portal, which allows for the ability to:
    • Receive alerts, reminders, notifications for case tracking within PA Portal
    • eFile cases with the court at no cost
    • Designate a filing as one that will not be filed for ticket tracking audit
    • Review data sent by law enforcement for reduced data entry
    • Transfer tickets to other active PAs in the same circuit
    • eFile multiple violation bureau citations in bulk
    • Provide electronic method of communications with the defendant and court
