Rule 24 | Rules of Criminal Procedure | Misdemeanors or Felonies – Arraignment and Proceedings Before Trial

24.08 | Misdemeanors or Felonies – Continuance

For good cause shown, the court may continue a criminal proceeding to a fixed day, or to a date for trial to be set thereafter.

This is the same as Rule 65.01 except that 'civil action' has been changed to 'criminal proceeding' and the provision concerning costs has been deleted. Compare: Prior Rule 25.08(a).
