7.02 | Officers

The officers of The Missouri Bar shall be a President, a President-elect, and a Vice-President. The Executive Director shall act as Secretary of the Board. The Clerk of this court shall act as Treasurer and shall furnish a surety bond in the amount fixed by the Board of Governors at the expense of The Missouri Bar.

The President, President-elect, and Vice-President shall be elected by the Board of Governors and for a term of one year commencing with the adjournment of the annual meeting and expiring with the adjournment of the next annual meeting. The President shall not succeed himself. The Board of Governors shall also designate the Executive Director, who shall be employed to devote his full time to the affairs of The Missouri Bar and who shall be paid a reasonable salary, the amount of which shall be determined by said Board.

At each annual meeting, before the adjournment thereof, the Board of Governors for the ensuing year may convene to organize and elect officers but for no other purpose.
